PROKART Endurance Racing

Now available Pro Endurance Kart Racing in WA. These karts are not your general hire karts. Pro Endurance Racing is the latest trend to hit Karting in WA. iust a chance to get involved into Kart Racing without spending a fortune. A Pro Kart has 2 x 200cc non restricted pro engines on a purpose built race kart chassis that meets the AKAWA regulations.

To quality you will need to be 21 years of age with a valid drivers licence and a credit card deposit against damages. All the repairs are carried out labour free and all parts at standard retail prices. The replacement parts are totally the teams responsibility so therefore you bend it, you mend it. So if you agree with the Pro Kart Endurance repair rules put your name down for the next event and get a team ready to takle the Wanneroo International Circuit over the 1025 meter long track with 18 corners to negotiate and 5 straights with the choice of 4 hours, 6 hour, 8 hours or 12 hours depending on your budget. All karts are fitted with the most advanced AMB Timing System available keeping a record of each teams progress.

All race suits, helmets and gloves are provided (or you can bring your own) - please wear enclosed shoes.

You must remember that this is an Endurance race so to finish first you must first finish!

So get a team together and choose your package the cost is per Kart, not each driver so therefore you can split the cost.

For the event to go ahead, a minimum of 6 karts must participate, so if you are down on numbers, don't panic as we run a register of racers that are also interested as this is not a closed event, but remains open to all racers.


The Race Deal

Drivers
Minimum of 2 drivers per team

Pit Stops
Karts must have one pit stop each hour lasting a minimum of 2 minutes for fuel, chain lube, tyre check, driver rehydration etc. Teams can pit stop whenever they wish to make a driver change. Anybody entering the track dangerously will receive a stop go penalty.

Safety Car
In the event of a kart breaking down in any manner, a safety car will be brought out to recover the kart. The yellow flag will be displayed as well as a boad with SG to denote a 'safety car'. All karts must circulate at a safe pace until a green flat restart, any karts passing during a yellow flat will receive a stop go penalty.

Red Flag
Once a Red Flag is deployed, the race time is stopped. All karts are to return to the pit lane. No work is to be carried out on any karts, no driver changes during a red flag stoppage. When it is safe to restart, all karts except for the one causing the red flag stoppage will receive a 10 minute penalty before restarting. At the stoppage a drivers briefing will be given as to what has happened and will be happening.

Winners
First place goes to the team which has completed the most laps
Second place goes to the team with the next most laps
Third place goes to the team with the next most laps

The Race Plan

* A credit card swipe is held on each kart against damages and the team is responsible for the kart as there is no Third Party Claim. Wanneroo Kart Hire only charge out for parts replaced with no labor charge and prices are set out in the race contract you are required to sign to participate.

BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL AS A MINIMUM AMOUNT OF PARTICIPANTS IS REQUIRED.
